Compensation & Expenses
No charge for travel time in Kootenai and Bonner Counties. I will charge $75 an hour for my travel time to Bonner, Benewah and Shoshone Counties. Reasonable expenses for mileage, food, photocopying are included in both my hourly rate and travel time expense.

Willingness to Accept Pro Bono
I will accept appointment on a pro bono basis subject to the evaluation occurring in Kootenay County, Idaho, and the parties' agreeing to limit the evaluation to one half-day or four (4) hours of evaluator time.

Experience and Specialties
  • Law Clerk for First District Judge James Judd, Ret'd 1997-1999; Associate Ramsden & Lyons LLP with focus on personal injury defense, real estate, real estate development and general civil litigation, 1999-2006; partner with Ramsden Lyons, added construction law and construction defect and defense work 2006-2015; partner withRamsden, Marfice, Ealy & Harris, LLP with areas of practice in construction law and general civil litigation. Recently obtained civil mediation certification.
  • Hs represented parties in several arbitrations since 2000, primarily dealing with disputed construction contracts. However, recently represented franchisor in disputed frnachise contract. Participated in numerous arbitrations since 2000.
  • Tried several civil cases beginning in 2000. Trial experience includes both jury and bench trials regarrding personal injury, real estate, contract and construction law matters.,
  • Recently completed 40-hour certification and traiing course with Northwet Institute for Dispute Resolution through the University of Idaho and previous experience volunteering as mediator during Law Week mediations organized as part of the Kootenai County Bar Assn.
