Idaho Court Rules & Amendments Available for Public Comment

Rules and Amendments are available for Bar and Public comment. Comments will be accepted for at least 14 business days before the Supreme Court considers them. All comments should be submitted in writing via U.S. mail, e-mail, or fax. All submissions should be addressed to the "Committee Reporter" of the proposed rule amendment, as indicated in the notice. For more information about the process, click here

-  Now that all counties are on Odyssey and come under the Rule on Electronic Filing and Service, that one long rule is being broken down into a more manageable set of rules, the “Idaho Rules for Electronic Filing and Service.” There is some slight re-organization along with some proposed amendments.  A two page summary of the proposed amendments appears before the proposed set of rules.  Comments and questions on the proposed rules may be sent to Cathy Derden, Staff Attorney for the Idaho Supreme Court, at cderden@idcourts.net  by Monday, March 11, 2019.  For a memo detailing proposed amendments CLICK HERE.
