The Idaho Courts have a career opportunity for a Statewide Language Access Manager. The Statewide Language Access Manager is responsible for the statewide coordination of language access services throughout the Idaho Courts. Administrative responsibilities include staffing the Court's standing committee on language access, managing the court interpreter training and testing program, assisting counties with the coordination of services, and carrying out the requirements of the statewide language access plan. This position is also responsible for providing in-person and remote interpretation and translation services to courts statewide. If you feel that an interpreter’s performance is inconsistent with the Idaho Code of Professional Responsibilities for Interpreters in the Judiciary, state law, Supreme Court rule or order or administrative policy, please complete the enclosed form. The Language Access Office takes all complaints against interpreters seriously. Your complaint will be given full attention and will be resolved as quickly as possible.
