Requirements:
Cover letter, resume (including class rank and GPA), transcript, and a writing sample (preferably 10-20 pages). The writing sample should be a legal writing sample, such as a brief, memorandum in support of a motion, etc., that demonstrates the applicant’s skills in legal writing, research, and analysis. The sample should be the applicant’s own work, with no more than minimal editing by others. Applications for August 2026 law clerk positions will be accepted from January 1, 2025 through May 1, 2025.

The writing sample should be a non-academic writing sample, such as a brief, memorandum in support of a motion, etc., that demonstrates the applicant’s legal analysis and that is not significantly edited by other individuals. Letters of recommendation may be sent separately. Application period for August 2025 term has closed. Applications for externship and internship positions (unpaid) will be accepted at any time.
