Attorney of Record Portal Launches for Bar Members

The Idaho Supreme Court has announced a new service for attorneys that provides online access to records in their cases.

The new Attorney of Record Portal will gradually roll out to practicing members of the Idaho State Bar over the coming weeks. Members of the Idaho State Bar with a status of active, emeritus, house counsel or military spouse provisional license should watch for an email inviting them to register.

This service is provided as a privilege for practicing members of the Idaho State Bar. Once registered, the site will offer an attorney access to documents and case information in cases where they are listed as the attorney of record – including access to certain records that are otherwise exempt from disclosure under Idaho Court Administrative Rule 32.

An attorney will be able to designate up to three employee delegates to receive their same access. Sealed cases and records will not be available through this service even for an attorney listed on the case.

Registration can take 1 to 2 business days to complete and requires signing an attestation about use of the site. As a result, members of the Bar will be invited to register in a gradual rollout to manage the registration workload. We ask your patience and to not share your invites with other attorneys – this is to avoid overwhelming the processing system for registrations.

More information about the Attorney of Record Portal, its capabilities and the registration process will come with each invite.
