Court of Appeals Judge Fleming to be Sworn in Friday

Idaho Court of Appeals Judge Theodore Fleming will take his public oath of office during an investiture ceremony set for noon MT on Friday, July 17.
The public, friends and family are invited to attend the ceremony in the Idaho Supreme Court courtroom in Boise, as well as a reception after. The ceremony will be streamed live online through Idaho In Session.
The Court of Appeals is made up of four judges who hear appeals as assigned by the state Supreme Court.
Gov. Brad Little appointed Judge Fleming to the Court of Appeals in May. Previously, Judge Fleming served first as a magistrate judge, then as a district judge in the Fourth Judicial District. As an attorney he worked both in private practice and as a deputy county prosecutor.
He succeeds Judge David Gratton, who retired from the court in March.
