Treatment Court Coordinating Committee
Under the Idaho Drug Court and Mental Health Court Act, the Supreme Court is responsible for establishing and maintaining a statewide Treatment Court Coordinating Committee to oversee all treatment courts.
This committee includes judges, court administrators, coordinators, prosecutors, public defenders, treatment providers, and representatives from the Governor’s Office, and other state and county agencies.

Committee Responsibilities:
- Develop statewide implementation plans
- Establish eligibility, assessment, treatment, and supervision guidelines
- Provide training and technical assistance
- Design a certification and quality assurance process
- Recommend funding priorities
- Coordinate with state agencies and community partners
- Review and approve district Treatment Court plans
- Evaluate strategies and data systems
