Family Court Services

Family Court Services supports families in the Second Judicial District, including through the court-ordered Focus on Children class.

The class is currently offered online and can be completed at any time, with no set date or hour. This page explains how to register, using the online sign-up form or by phone.

The $40 class fee must be paid to the Clerk of the Court in the Second Judicial District county where your case is filed before class information is released. If you have a fee waiver, please bring a copy to your class. Attorneys may register clients using the form or by phone.

2nd district does not provide in-person classes at this time. There is an online class available. You can take this class at your leisure. Please fill out the form below, pay your $40 fee where your case is filed, and you will be contacted with further information. We will be updating this website with further information in the next few weeks.

You can register your clients for the FOC class by the Form below or by calling 208-799-3052 and leave a message with (1) the party’s name, (2) case number and County, a local contact phone number.

Out-of-State Participants

This class may satisfy the requirements for other States’ family court requirement. Be sure to clear this class with the venue of your out-of-state court prior to attending.

On-Line Class Option

The Second Judicial District has a Focus on the Children class on-line option only. No in-person classes.
